There are few things more heinous than a grown man who steals from a child. But if you put that aside, it's also not worth the trouble, unless you're sticking up a Jonas Brother.A Sheboygan, Wis. man found that out after being sentenced to six years in prison for stealing $20 out of a child's bank. Ryan Mueller, 31, was convicted of felony burglary for breaking into a home last summer and taking money from a 2-year-old girl's piggy bank while she slept. Her mother caught Mueller in the act.
While it's unclear whether he makes a habit of robbing kiddies, Mueller does have a history of bungled break-ins.
He's been charged with burglary four times, and his upcoming six-year term will be served along with a six-year sentence he received in June for another crime.
Though half a dozen years in the clink seems like a lot for stealing $20, it's fairly obvious Mueller could use the time to study up on economics, especially as it pertains to incentives.
