The Rovio, from WowWee, is a surveillance robot bound to make your Roomba feel inadequate. Sure, the Roomba can do an OK job cleaning the floors, but the Rovio takes on the task of home security, mini-robot style. The Rovio is self-docking, so you don't have to be home to get it back to home base for recharging. Plus, it climbs stairs (hear that, Roomba?), and you can set up a pre-defined patrol route.
Additionally, this Mars Rover look-alike has Wi-Fi, a video cam for remote streaming and LEDs for night-time navigation. Possible uses include home safety during vacations and advanced paranoid snooping.
