Previously we talked about the HAL robot suit granting superhuman strength. Now we have word that another part of the cyborg equation has been conquered, with the creation of contact lenses with integrated circuitry that can give you a permanent HUD (that's a very literal Head Up Display) right there on your eyeball. So you can scan a room Terminator style, getting instant feedback on the environment around you, or just watch TV, movies, or porn on your very personal video display. They say it could even offer zoom capabilities, so you can get pervy at a comfortably non-invasive viewing distance. Oh, the fun the kids of 2050 will be having with these toys.
