A New Zealand Taekwondo champion, tired of borrowing money from friends and family to compete on the world stage, has bought a share in a "high-class gentlemen's club" in Auckland to make it easier to fund his road to London 2012. His mission to Beijing cost him $121,000 and he hopes to earn twice that amount from his share in the brothel.

However his sporting body isn't very pleased, suggesting he may ultimately be excluded from selection for his part-time pimp act. Apparently "ability to serve as example to the youth of the country" is part of their criteria. Since when did a bit of enterprising spirit, and serving the high-class needs of Auckland's gentlemen, not make for a good example?
