98 of world's best lunatics, sorry, base-jumpers (easy mistake), flung themselves from the 421m International Tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Starting in 1999 with a handful of participants the annual event has ballooned and now includes competitors from 18 countries, willing to throw themselves off the fifth highest building in the world.
The event isn't even a competition. Although base-jumping is a hard thing to score. Not dead? Ten!

Arguably invented by Frederick Law who jumped off the statue of liberty in 1912, B.A.S.E jumping got off to a rough start.
