It's unlikely this Asylum ed would ever find himself at a Britney Spears concert, but that doesn't mean we're not following the train wreck of a concert tour here in Australia. Things are getting pretty messy as the 'scandal' of high priced tickets and mimed performances hits the front pages.Today there's reports of fans walking out on the concert, upset that they'd paid hundreds for a very lack lustre show. Britney's people hit back at the claim, along the lines of 'no they didn't', and then the reporter had her own lash back at the Britney camp, with an 'oh yes they did, are you calling me a liar?'. Handbags and ten paces, ladies!
There's even been talk of the Fair Trading Department getting involved, with suggestions it is unreasonable to pay for a concert if the star has no intention of performing live. When they want hundreds of dollars
Should we have to be told before the show? Don't people already pretty much assume unstable pop stars like Britney are just going to fake it? Is the live event just a chance to ogle the artist in the flesh, and lip syncing gives them a better chance to go nuts with the dance routines and costume changes?

I haven't been to see the show and I'm not a fan, but I did know before tickets had gone on sale that Britney would be miming her entire show.
People paid that money to see her perform, this is her comeback and they knew she would not be singing live. If you couldn't stay for the entire show then you can't be that big a Britney fan in the first place.
I say cut her a break, and enjoy the music and relish in the fact that she has made it on tour.

She lip syncs a lot. We know that -- but every time? People paid not to just see her dance.
