Oh sweet irony, you can make the cruelest of jokes sometimes. According to news.com.au, Roy Beverley was sitting at home, filling out a lottery ticket, when lightning struck the house. He was blown from his chair, windows exploded, and the house caught on fire. Sounds like the script for a "live the lotto life" TV commercial. Except maybe the house on fire part.

If you technically have better odds of being struck by lightning than winning the lottery, is this a good or a bad omen?
