A survey of male college students finds they prefer women of average weight and build. The 18-to-26-year-old men who participated in a study at Scotland's St. Andrews University came to that conclusion by looking only at pictures of faces. When looking at an array of head shots, the gents consistently singled out those that paired with either underweight or overweight body types as being both less attractive and less healthy than those that topped normal frames .
There has long been a correlation between the perceived health of a face and its attractiveness, but this is the first study to tie a gaunt or plump visage to a negative impression of overall build.
Will this finding finally encourage the fashion industry to move away from heroin chic and toward plus-size models? Don't bet your dinner of grapefruit and cigarettes on it.

This is so wrong. I love skinny women and I think they are the most beautiful in my eye.
However, skinny women won't find me attractive and that's the olny problem.
