We don't know what this suspected bank robber was doing writing out his demands on paper. In hindsight, he probably thinks he could have just said his demands to the bank clerks like most normal criminals, while waving a bag labelled "swag" at them. Alas, scribbling on paper was exactly what he did, and post robbery (if he did it, of course, he's innocent until proven otherwise) he slipped it into his pocket.
Shortly after the raid cops pulled over John Ford in Ohio, USA. After getting him out of his vehicle, they did the usual US cop gig of pushing him against the bonnet of their police car as they cuffed him and searched him for weapons. As they did this, they made the mistake of putting what is believed to be the note he had previously handed to bank staff demanding cash, down in front of him. Quick as a flash our villain gives a sneaky look then gobbles the paper, Pacman-style, right down.
Cops didn't put the .38-caliber pistol or wad of dye-pack stained cash recovered from his car, down in front of his mouth, though. That would have been a big ask, even for the hungry Mr Ford. Check out the footage after the jump.
